Save Our Service seeking a experienced Centre Director for a beautiful centre in Marrickville.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure regulatory compliance and uphold high-quality standards.
- Inspire curiosity and creativity in children through engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with families through open and ongoing communication.
- Act as an ambassador for the centre within the local community, building partnerships and promoting its values.
- Oversee financial management, ensuring resources are used efficiently and responsibly.
- Prioritise and maintain the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in care.
- Support daily operations, including classroom tasks such as preparing activities and assisting during mealtimes.
- Lead the design and delivery of educational programs that support each child’s holistic development.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to fellow educators within the service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of children’s development, programs, and daily activities.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with National Quality Standards and all relevant government regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Minimum three years experience in a Centre Director role within a Early Childcare setting.
- Current paid working with children check, current First aid & CPR.
- National Police Check (within 6 months).
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care.
