The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised OOSH Cook in Freshwater to support a busy service catering for up to 250 children.
This role focuses on the preparation of afternoon tea, ensuring meals are nutritious, well-presented, and prepared in line with dietary requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen and completing all washing up duties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who holds a Food Safety Supervisor certificate and is confident managing a high-volume kitchen environment independently.
Who We’re Looking For
To be successful, you will:
- Hold a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (essential)
- Have experience in a commercial or childcare/OOSH kitchen
- Be confident preparing food for large groups (high-volume experience highly regarded)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergy management
- Be organised, efficient, and able to work independently
Your Role
- Prepare and serve afternoon tea for up to 250 children
- Ensure all meals meet dietary and allergy requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
- Complete all cleaning and washing up duties
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with service staff
